Morris family grieving loss attributed to ‘COVID psychosis’ – WGN TV Chicago

MORRIS, Ill. – A family is grieving a loss as painful as it is surprising. They attribute the loss of father Ben Price,48, to a rare and little understood phenomenon called “COVID psychosis.” The married father of two was a farmer and business owner in Morris. In February, he contracted COVID-19 after riding in a car with others to Bible study. “He would have never left us,” widow Jennifer Price said. “Our Ben would never have left us. And that’s what we want to get out. He was not our Ben.” Jennifer said her husband was hospitalized for four days with lung and oxygen issues. He came home a different man. “He would just pace through the house and repeat things. And it wasn’t even in his normal tone of voice. It was very different tone. He was very scared....

‘Bachelor’ host Chris Harrison deeply pathetic for apology to woke mob: Dave Rubin – Fox News

"The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison is "deeply pathetic" for apologizing for comments about cancel culture after taking a leave from the ABC series, "The Rubin Report" host Dave Rubin told "America’s Newsroom". "Look, I know you're not a racist. You know you're not a racist … but the second you apologize to the woke mob, well, congratulations. You are now living on your knees forever," Rubin said. Harrison told "Good Morning America" earlier Thursday he "made a mistake" by defending current "Bachelor" contestant Rachael Kirkconnell after photos resurfaced of her attending an "Old South"-themed party in 2018. The political commentator called Harrison's apology "embarrassing" and argued the host had lost his self-respect. CHRIS HARRISON SAYS HE PLANS TO HOST 'BACHELOR' FRANCHISE AGAIN I...

HBO Maxs Made for Love stars a woman with a surveillance chip in her head – Engadget

HBO Max has released a teaser for a series called Made for Love, which might give you a good reason to avoid getting too close to tech billionaires. Cristin Milioti plays Hazel Green, a woman who escapes an oppressive, decade-long marriage by fleeing to her hometown in the desert. Only one problem: Hazel's husband has implanted a surveillance chip in her mind. Byron Gogol (a character with a wonderful name played by Billy Magnussen) can use the chip to track and watch Hazel and to keep tabs on her "emotional data." And somehow this is a comedy series. It's based on a novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting. If the dystopian, Black Mirror-esque premise has got you feeling glum, at least you can enjoy Ray Romano, who co-stars as Hazel's dad, giving a unique rendition of Beyoncé's "Craz...

Turntable.fm is back from the dead — and now there are two – The Verge

It’s rare that apps come back from the dead, but it seems like that may be what’s happening with Turntable.fm, a site that let users create their own radio stations and DJ sets with music they curated before it got shuttered in 2014. Even rarer, it seems like there are two versions involved in the revival: the original Turntable.fm site is back up and running (with the involvement of its original founder, Billy Chasen), but there’s also Turntable.org, which will reportedly be launching in beta this April. The two sites seem to be taking different directions: Turntable.org, the new version, mentions there will be a subscription fee (perhaps not a bad idea, given the fate of the first version), while the original seems to be largely unchanged from the one that shut down in 2014. While...
