Spider-Man: Far From Home Marks the End of Tom Hollands Spidey Contract, But He Wants to Keep Slinging Webs – /FILM

Spider-Man: No Way Home was just officially announced as the third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise co-produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. There was a time when the studios parted ways and it seemed like Tom Holland might be done playing the webslinger, but thankfully they sorted things out. However, the actor has confirmed that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be the last film under his contract with Sony/Marvel, but that doesn’t mean he’s done wallcrawling. Collider recently caught up with Tom Holland in conjunction with the upcoming release of Cherry on Apple TV+. The conversation eventually turned to the new Spider-Man movie, which Holland confirmed is the last movie in his contract. But that doesn...

Utahns age 16 and up with comorbidities now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine, Gov. Cox announces – KSL.com

SALT LAKE CITY — As Utah Gov. Spencer Cox announced more earlier-than-expected vaccine eligibility Thursday, he remained confidently optimistic that a return to normalcy is coming in the summer. Gesturing to his mask, Cox strongly declared that its days are numbered. "I'm telling you, I'm not going to be wearing this (mask) on the Fourth of July. I'm going to be in a parade somewhere," Cox said at a news conference Thursday morning. "If I'm wrong, I'll come here and admit that I'm wrong, and we're going to do something different." Utah Department of Health state epidemiologist Dr. Angela Dunn remained more pragmatic. She said normalcy by the summer is "certainly possible" but will take an effort from everyone in the state to continue wearing masks, socially distancing, limiting gatherings...

‘Cherry’ Review: Tom Holland Acts Methodically in an Overblown Dud From the Russo Brothers – Variety

In “Cherry,” Tom Holland sports a buzzcut, dead eyes, and a skeevy complexion. In a look-at-my-badass-self reversal from the effusive heroics of the “Spider-Man” films, he plays an Iraq War veteran turned opioid addict turned heroin addict turned bank robber, and he looks zoned-out and strung-out, like Eminem as a fallen Eagle Scout. He gets the cold sweats, he weeps real tears and talks in a phlegmy voice, he contorts his face into a pale mask of pain, and at one point he rubs the top of his noggin and says, “I have this noise in my head…why can’t it stop?” When his girlfriend, also a junkie, abandons him for a spell, he sits in his car and jabs a hypodermic needle into his thigh, over and over again, so that he’ll feel something. Holland’s character is never named (he’s a...
