Marilyn Manson Dropped by Longtime Manager Amid Sexual and Physical Abuse Allegations – Rolling Stone

Tony Ciulla, who managed Marilyn Manson for the past 25 years, has dropped the shock rocker as a client, a source close to the situation confirmed to Rolling Stone. The move comes after several women, including actress and Manson’s ex-fiancé Evan Rachel Wood, accused Manson of sexual and physical abuse. Ciulla started managing Manson in 1996, the same year the artist put out his mainstream breakthrough, Antichrist Superstar. He stood by the singer, whose real name is Brian Warner, through multiple controversies — including criticism that followed the musician after the Columbine shooting — and myriad lawsuits. Manson has been subject to suits by both former band members over royalty disputes and alleged assaults on security personnel at concerts. But Ciulla’s stance changed this w...

Hilaria Baldwin apologizes for heritage scandal: ‘I should have been more clear and Im sorry’ – Fox News

Hilaria Baldwin is apologizing over her recent heritage scandal. The 37-year-old yoga/wellness expert was put on blast in December when it was discovered she wasn't actually born in Spain -- as she had implied -- and instead was born and raised in Boston, Mass. Baldwin was also criticized for allegedly faking a Spanish accent. The bilingual mother of five's accent noticeably fluctuated over the years when she made appearances on TV.  On Friday, Baldwin issued an apology on Instagram, writing: "I’ve spent the last month listening, reflecting, and asking myself how I can learn and grow. My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a true sense of belonging to both." She continued: "The way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two ...

Okay, screenwriters, directors, authors, and production companies — we get it. You have some experience telling stories about Wall Street, the video game industry, or social networks, and you see some mighty big dollar signs in the true tale of how Reddit managed to drive an ailing video game retailer’s stocks to completely ridiculous highs through sheer power of will plus a David versus Goliath narrative that probably doesn’t hold up under close examination. So you’re making movies — four of them — and a TV show. Why not? It’s not like any one person has the rights to a news event like this! As of Friday, February 5th: No. But just in case yes, we imagine this set of completely disparate productions will need some excellent titles going forward. May we humbly suggest: Gam...
