NXT recap & reactions: Dusty Classic Fatigue – Cageside Seats

NXT returned last night (Feb. 10) from the Capitol Wrestling Center (CWC) in Orlando, Florida. You can find the results at the live blog here. Finals are Set The main event of this week was a men’s Dusty semi-final match between The Grizzled Young Veterans and Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher. The match was a solid main, which made sure to demonstrate how the GYV really functioned as a true team. While T & T weren’t off the same page, it was clear the Vets are extensions of each other. This factored into the finish when Zack Gibson grabbed James Drake, who was prone for Ciampa’s finish Willow’s Bell, preventing the move. This allowed the Vets to deliver their double team finisher Ticket to Mayhem. Gibson covered Tommaso as Drake prevented Thatcher from breaking it up...

Blunder Road: Bruce Springsteen busted for DWI after one shot of tequila – New York Post

Bruce Springsteen was allegedly busted in Sandy Hook, New Jersey when he pulled over to take pictures with fans — and then took a shot of tequila offered by one of them in full view of the cops, a music industry insider said. The “Born to Run” icon, 71, had been riding his motorcycle on the peninsula on Nov. 14 when he “was spotted by fans who asked him to pull over and take some pictures,” according to a source close to Springsteen.  “Bruce stopped, took the pictures, then a fan offered him a shot of liquor, which he took, while sitting on his bike, which was stationary,” the source said. “Park Police saw what happened and they immediately pulled Springsteen over as he drove away.” The Post has not been able to immediately verify this account with la...

Game-Changer Drug Promotes Weight Loss Like No Medicine Ever Seen, Scientists Say – ScienceAlert

In the simplest terms, obesity is the product of a body's energy output being less than its energy input. But in reality, there's nothing simple about this complex and mysterious disease.   Obesity, which has skyrocketed in recent decades – now defining the body mass of over 40 percent of adult Americans – isn't just difficult for people to endure and scientists to understand. It's also incredibly hard to treat. Beyond commitment to sustained lifestyle changes – healthy eating and exercise, effectively – there are really only two potential options that may help: bariatric surgery and weight-loss medications. The former is invasive and carries various risks and complications. As for the drugs, they don't always work, and can have their own adverse effects too. However, an experimental...

Morgan Wallen Speaks Out On Instagram, Offers Apology For His Racial Slur – Deadline

Country singer Morgan Wallen has asked his fans not to defend him because he “was wrong” and now takes “ownership” of problems caused by a racial slur recorded by a neighbor. Wallen took to Instagram and delivered a five-minute video on what happened on the night he was recorded saying farewell to friends and using the N-word. The fallout from that incident has seen him suspended by his record label, pulled from radio, and dropped by many representatives and institutions in the country music genre. The 27-year-old Wallen has since remained silent, but emerged today to give his side of the story. “The video you saw was me on hour 72 of a bender, and that’s not something I’m proud of either,” he said. “Obviously, the natural thing to do is to ap...
