Health experts say Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children, or MIS-C can be life-threatening if left untreated. Symptoms vary child to child, but according to the CDC, it's defined as: "a condition where different body parts can become inflamed, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes, or gastrointestinal organs.
