Olivia Jade posts first YouTube video in over a year – Page Six

And you thought the inauguration would be the biggest news this week. Disgraced influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli is returning to the fertile ground from whence she sprung — no, not tremendous privilege — YouTube, where she posted her first video in over a year. Deeply underselling things with the title “daily vlog x olivia jade,” Giannulli, 21, begins the video by saying, “This is so crazy!” (We’re with her so far.) Her introduction makes reference to her “Red Table Talk” appearance — which angered “RTT” host Jada Pinkett Smith’s mom and pleased Sofia Richie — and directs viewers to revisit it should they have any questions about her thoughts on the college admissions scandal that landed both of her parents in prison. She then interrupts the video w...

Jason Segel is a rock of selflessness in the sugarcoated cancer drama Our Friend – The A.V. Club

Casey Affleck and Jason Segel in Our FriendPhoto: Gravitas Ventures The opening scene of Our Friend, a tender indie tearjerker built from the blueprint of a wrenching true story, finds a husband and wife on the precipice of a difficult conversation. It’s time for Nicole (Dakota Johnson) and Matt (Casey Affleck) to talk to their children. Nicole, we’ll soon learn, is sick, and though it’ll be another hour before the film reveals the specific nature of what they’ll disclose, it’s clear that the discussion won’t be an easy one. At least they have one helpful instruction from the doctors: Avoid euphemisms. Give it to them straight. Because there should be no misunderstanding about what’s coming. They have to face reality head on and together. There’s a certain irony to this in media re...

The Oregon Health Authority on Thursday reported 849 new confirmed or presumptive coronavirus cases and 11 more fatalities as cases and hospitalizations continued a slow downward trend. Oregon is expected to release new modeling Friday, when Gov. Kate Brown will hold a news conference to discuss the latest in the state’s response to the pandemic. Where the new cases are by county: Baker (4), Benton (24), Clackamas (71), Clatsop (7), Columbia (1), Coos (10), Crook (2), Deschutes (32), Douglas (22), Gilliam (1), Harney (1), Hood River (8), Jackson (42), Jefferson (6), Josephine (21), Klamath (18), ...

COVID-19 Statistics | Jan. 21, 2021 – Lost Coast Outpost

A total of 2,458 Humboldt County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, after 31 new cases were reported today.  Humboldt County Public Health and local providers have resumed using Lot 041L20A of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine after the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced it was safe to administer.  CDPH had asked counties to pause use of the lot when seven vaccine recipients at a single location in San Diego experienced severe allergic reactions. The agency, along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration and Moderna, found that there was “no scientific basis to continue the pause.”  Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Ian Hoffman said he was grateful to the state for acting quickly to ensure the safety of the vaccine sup...
