‘A Quiet Place Part II’ On The Move Again In Release Shuffle By Paramount Pictures – Deadline

Paramount is again moving the release date for A Quiet Place Part II. Now, the horror/thriller sequel will bow wide on September 17, 2021. The new date is the fourth for the film’s opening. Paramount originally scheduled for opening in US theaters on March 20, 2020, a date made unworkable by the mushrooming of the domestic version of the coronavirus pandemic. From there, it was moved to September 4, 2020, but that was derailed by the persistence of the virus outbreak. It was then sent to April 2021, as speculation swirled that the film would bow on the ViacomCBS streaming service. Now, it is again on the theatrical slate. In its new slot, the film will be up against 20th Century Studios’ Death on the Nile, Universal’s The Boss Baby: Family Business, and Sony Pi...

Prince Harry Breaks Silence On Report He And Meghan Markle Are Quitting Social Media – HuffPost

Prince Harry responded to a news story that he and Meghan Markle were quitting social media, noting in a wide-ranging interview with Fast Company published Friday that they had closed their main social media account months ago.  “We woke up one morning a couple of weeks ago to hear that a Rupert Murdoch newspaper said we were evidently quitting social media,” the Duke of Sussex told Fast Company’s Katharine Schwab. “That was ‘news’ to us, bearing in mind we have no social media to quit, nor have we for the past 10 months.’”  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who announced their intention to step back as working members of the royal family in January 2020, paused activity on their record-breaking Sussex Royal Instagram account last March.  But Harry said that isn’t necessarily the case for t...

‘A Quiet Place 2’ Gets New Release Date – Variety

Add “A Quiet Place Part II” to the growing list of 2021 films that have already been delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Paramount’s post-apocalyptic thriller — directed by John Krasinski and starring Emily Blunt — has been postponed for a third time. It will now open in theaters on Sept. 17. “A Quiet Place 2” was initially slated to release last March, but those plans were abandoned in the 11th hour as the heath crisis first started to grip the United States. It was most recently moved to April 23, however that date recently started to look unlikely considering coronavirus cases are still on the rise. With the surge in COVID-19 infections, moviegoing has been slow to return in the United States. That means studios still don’t feel confident in releasing their buzzi...

Christina Riccis estranged husband James Heerdegen files a restraining order against her – Page Six

Christina Ricci’s estranged husband is seeking a restraining order against the actress, accusing her of excessive drinking and domestic violence. Heerdegen’s request for a domestic violence restraining order comes days after Ricci, 40, requested a restraining order against him, per court documents obtained by Page Six on Friday. Her order was granted. In his order, per the Daily Mail, Heerdegen claimed that she would get into drunken rages in front of himself and their son Freddie. He alleged that she would have no idea what happened when she finally sobered up and that he had to check Freddie’s bottles at one point while she was breastfeeding. “This filing is nothing more than a transparently abusive attempt to silence my client,” Ricci’s attorney, Samant...
