Tanya Roberts, Bond girl and 70s Show star, hospitalized – WESH Orlando

Tanya Roberts, who captivated James Bond in “A View to a Kill” and later played Midge Pinciotti in the sitcom “That ’70s Show,” has been hospitalized after falling at her home. The actor had mistakenly been reported dead by her publicist earlier Monday.Roberts' publicist Mike Pingel later told The Associated Press Monday afternoon that Roberts, 65, was still alive as of 10 a.m. PST but was in a poor condition. He had said earlier Monday that Roberts collapsed in her home on Dec. 24 and was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was believed to have died on Sunday. Pingel said Robert's partner, Lance O'Brien, told him that he held his wife and she “seemed for him to slip away." How can you get the Covid-19 vaccine? One option is to register online with the El Paso health department by clicking here for the direct link. In addition, vaccine shipments have been made to a range of health care providers — ...

Los Angeles County ambulance crews told to ration oxygen amid surge in COVID-19 cases: report – Fox News

Los Angeles County hospitals are so overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients that EMS workers were told Monday to ration oxygen, according to reports.  The L.A. County Emergency Medical Services Agency issued a directive Monday detailing the decision.  "Given the acute need to conserve oxygen, effective immediately, EMS should only administer supplemental oxygen to patients with oxygen saturation below 90%," the directive said, according to the Los Angeles Times.  The directive was made on the same day the county said 7,697 patients were hospitalized with the virus. Of those, at least 21% are in intensive care units. When the recent surge began, in early-November, there were about 791 people hospitalized with COVID-19. New Year, New Melt

There is nothing quite like a patty melt to drive home everything we love (and have dearly missed over the course of the past year) about a visit to a local diner. There was the famous melt from the now-closed MeMe’s Diner, in Brooklyn, which went heavy on the industrial American cheese and grainy mustard. There’s the larger-than-life melt at Phoenicia Diner in the Hudson Valley, which swapped in pimento cheese for those deli slices. The best versions of the classic hybrid combine the fast-food appeal of a cheeseburger with plenty of caramelized onions and the homey crunch of a good rye bread—a harmony of buttery, salty, slightly charred, and sweet flavors. It raises the question: Why don’t we pile caramelized onions and melted cheese onto all sa...

WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Drew McIntyres spectacular win over Keith Lee spoiled by Goldbergs return – CBSSports.com

Monday's edition of Raw, the first of 2021, was Legends Night featuring appearances some of the biggest stars in the history of WWE. Unfortunately, the involvement of the legends led to a highly unsatisfying end to the championship match between WWE champion Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee and a generally good show overall. After McIntyre outlasted Lee in an incredible, hard-hitting match, Goldberg appeared in the ThunderDome to issue a Royal Rumble challenge to the champ. Goldberg's motivation made little sense in the big picture. Worse, it will tie McIntyre up for a major pay-per-view event in a match almost no one wants to see. CBS Sports was with you all night, bringing you recaps and highlights of all the action. Read on for everything you need to know coming out of...

Eminem says he has “zero recollection” of recording controversial Rihanna verse – NME

Eminem has broken down his recent in-song apology to Rihanna on his track ‘Zeus’, explaining that he has “zero recollection” of recording the controversial lyrics about her which leaked online in 2019. ‘Zeus’, which featured on last month’s ‘Side B’ to ‘Music To Be Murdered By’, saw the rapper apologising to the singer for saying that he “sided with Chris Brown” over Rihanna after Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault in 2009. “But, me, long as I re-promise to be honest / And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna,” Eminem raps on ‘Zeus’. “For that song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri / It wasn’t meant to cause you grief. “Regardless, it was wrong of me.” Speaking to Sirius XM’s Shade 45 programme about ‘Zeus’, Eminem said that he didn’t know how the decade-old song which contained th...

A more contagious coronavirus strain has been identified in 4 states and 33 countries. What we know. – msnNOW

A more contagious coronavirus variant first identified in the United Kingdom continues to crop up across the U.S. and around the globe, threatening to further strain overburdened health care systems just as vaccines are rolling out worldwide. At least four U.S. states and 33 countries have identified the new variant, known as B.1.1.7. Several nations have also identified an additional variant, first identified in South Africa, that also appears to infect people more easily. "Because the variants spread more rapidly, they could lead to more cases and put even more strain on our heavily burdened health care systems," said Dr. Henry Walke, incident manager for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's COVID-19 response. "We need to be even more vigilant in our prevention measures to s...

California grants dentists emergency waiver to administer COVID-19 vaccines – KABC-TV

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Gov. Gavin Newsom says the state is speeding up efforts to get people vaccinated. Soon, you might even be able to get the shots from your dentist. This week begins round two of health care workers receiving their second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Valuable vials of the COVID-19 vaccine continue to be rolled out, yet not every health care worker has been rolling up their sleeves. But Los Angeles County Director of Public Health Dr. Barbara Ferrer said those precious shots, which she calls liquid gold, are not being wasted. "There have been a couple of instances where they've had extra doses at the end of the clinic," she said. "But they've managed to find other people in the hospital setting. We urge everyone to do your very best to create a sort of standby list wit...

The Bachelor recap week 1: Matt James welcomes you to the horniest season yet – New York Post

We’re coming in hot. Walking thirst-trap Matt James has taken the reins as the sexiest man in America for the next few months with the start of Season 25 of “The Bachelor.” And his gals are riled up: This looks like it’s going to be the horniest season in Bachelor history. One of the contestants brought Matt a vibrator, one made a steamy “WAP” reference. One came out of the limo in lace lingerie and had Matt pick her gown. Someone called him daddy in a promo. We love to see it. Though they’re on the cold East Coast (Bachelor Mansion has temporarily moved to a luxury resort in Pennsylvania), this season looks spicy with drama. And lucky for us, it comes just 13 days after the finale of “The Bachelorette.” Here’s what went down on night one. Mee...
