HBO Max is continuing its strong anime streak with the addition of four new films, two documentaries, and an upcoming Studio Ghibli movie this month, courtesy of distributor GKIDS Films, which is best known for running the international distribution of works from legendary director Hayao Miyazaki. Some of these can be seen on Netflix, but only outside the US due to licensing restrictions as HBO parent company WarnerMedia secured the US rights to most (but not all) of Ghibli’s catalog and works closely with GKIDS for rights to non-Ghibli titles. Jay Kay, the lead singer of the group Jamiroquai, was forced to deny that he was at the Capitol riots. The English musician took to Twitter on Thursday after he noticed his name trending as people mistakenly identified him as one of the rioters who breached the security of the U.S. Capitol building. Many seemed to confuse the two men thanks to their similar headwear.  "Good Morning Washington, loving the headgear, but not sure that's my crowd," he tweeted. "Stay safe everyone, J xxx." The 51-year-old singer often wears opulent headwear while performing on stage. Tomorrow will mark one week until WandaVision finally premieres on Disney+! Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are starved for new content, and the series looks like it will be exactly what's needed to get folks excited again for Phase Four. There has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming series, with folks looking for hints wherever they can. A couple of months ago, one fan noticed that a wine bottle featured in the show's trailer was labeled Maison du Mépris, which translates into English as House of Contempt. This had people wondering if "House" and "Mépris" together are supposed to be a reference to House of M, one of the biggest Scarlet Witch stories in Marvel Comics. Indie musician Ariel Pink was tweeting overnight about attending Wednesday’s Trump rally in Washington, D.C., that resulted in an assault on the U.S. Capitol. “i was in dc to peacefully show my support for the president. i attended the rally on the white house lawn and went back to hotel and took a nap. case closed,” he tweeted Thursday, responding to a Twitter user who called him out over a picture that showed him at a hotel in the district. The photo featured Pink, fellow indie musician and longtime friend John Maus and documentary filmmaker Alex Lee Moyer, on whose Instagram the selfie of the three was posted.
