Taylor Swifts New Bonus Song Appears To Confirm A Major Feud With Karlie Kloss After Years Of Rumours – BuzzFeed

"People had been telling us for years we needed to meet," Taylor told Vogue in 2015. "I remember makeup artists and hair people going, 'Doesn't she remind you of Karlie? God, she and Karlie would be best friends. They're the same.'" In the same article, Karlie revealed that she and Taylor had even started dressing alike. Xena is kicking Hercules butt on Twitter over Capitol protests – New York Post

Lucy Lawless, perhaps better known as “Xena: Warrior Princess,” is kicking ass and naming names, as usual. Yesterday the New Zealand-born actor logged on to Twitter and chose verbal violence — against fellow actor of mythic proportions Kevin Sorbo, whom many remember as television’s “Hercules.” The two ’90s-era icons were known for their series crossovers, in which the two characters would defeat all manner of folkloric monsters and fairy-tale villains. But in the real world, Lawless has set her sights on defeating a different kind of rival: baseless claims about the Capitol rioters. Sorbo tweeted a response to a surreal portrait of three protesters who rushed the Capitol, including prominent conspiracy theorist Jake Angeli, widely known as that guy who...

Tributes have been pouring in from his co-workers in Hollywood ... including "Bob's Burgers" director Simon Chong. Today we tragically lost our Lead Character designer and friend, Dave Creek. A wonderfully brilliant and talented man who I can guarantee designed your favourite character on Bob’s at some point. Study shows coronavirus immunity still strong in previously infected after 8 months | TheHill – The Hill

A new study found that coronavirus immunity for those who have been previously infected is still strong 8 months later. Understanding how the immune system remembers the coronavirus is key to “improving diagnostics and vaccines, and for assessing the likely future course of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the study says.  Blood samples from almost 200 patients in the study published by the journal Science showed it was not only the antibodies that remembered the virus. Multiple parts of the immune system remembered, and this memory helps a patient fight the virus quickly if they contract COVID-19 again. Coronavirus vaccines are reaching millions of people in the United States, but the number of cases continues to remain high in some areas of the country. Ninety percent of patients in...

Musician Ariel Pink clarified his showing of support for President Trump in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, the same day protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol building resulting in riots and at least five people dead. Social media users began criticizing Pink, 42, after a photo surfaced on Instagram that appeared to show him and musician John Maus along with filmmaker Alex Lee Moyer at a hotel in the city. Life-saving COVID-19 treatments cut death risk by 24%, say experts – Business Insider – Business Insider

Two new "life-saving" treatments can now be used in UK hospitals, because they reduce the risk of death by 24% in people critically unwell with coronavirus – according to a preliminary study. Tocilizumab and sarilumab, anti-inflammatory drugs usually used for arthritis, can reduce the length of time in hospital by 10 days, the UK government announced on Thursday.   The treatments have not been tested on people with coronavirus on normal hospital wards, or in the community. "The bottom line is that although I have a few concerns about the details of this study, if I were in intensive care with COVID, I would definitely want my doctors to give me tocilizumab now that I've read this paper," said the director of Biostatistics at Premier Research, Adam Jacobs.
