Kim Cattrall offers veiled reaction to Sex And The City revival moving ahead without her – Daily Mail

Kim Cattrall threw some thinly-disguised shade at her former Sex and the City castmates by 'liking' a fan tweet that 'applauded' her decision to 'put herself first' and refuse to take part in the upcoming reboot of the HBO show.  Kim, 64, has yet to make a public statement about the news of the series' revival, but she made her feelings about it perfectly clear with her reaction to the tweet, which praised the star for 'doing what is best for her'.   The tweet read: 'I absolutely love Sex and the City and whilst I am saddened that Samantha will not return, I applaud doing what is best for you and think this is great example of putting yourself first. Well done @KimCattrall.' Keeping it classy: Kim Cattrall, 64, took a thinly-veiled swipe at her former Sex and the City...

Some may still get COVID vaccine before theyre eligible – KOAT New Mexico

Someone who’s not yet eligible on paper can get the COVID vaccine ahead of those who are in high-risk groups. Austin Wolff is scheduled to get his shot at Expo New Mexico on Thursday. But when Wolff signed up to receive the vaccine, he had no idea his turn would come so soon.“I figured it was going to be sometime in the summer,” said Wolff. That’s because New Mexico just began Phase 1B.“We’re starting with persons 75 years of age or older, and then persons 16 or older with at least one chronic condition, then persons who are frontline essential workers followed by vulnerable populations,” said New Mexico Department of Health Secretary Dr. Tracie Collins.Wolff is a 30-year-old realtor with no chronic medical conditions. So, you can imagine how shocked he was when he got an email over t...

Vaccine Skepticism Helped Put Them in Power. Can They Inoculate Italy? – The New York Times

ROME — Over a decade ago, an activist in Italy’s Five Star Movement wrote to the nascent party’s leaders to tell them that his law firm, after years of seeking “damages from vaccination,” had convinced a judge that a vaccine was a potential source of autism. “We’re dealing with a historic legal precedent,” he wrote emphatically. Today that lawyer, Alfonso Bonafede, is the Italian justice minister, and his populist Five Star Movement leads the government. The Five Star’s long history of sowing doubt about vaccines may have made its job that much harder as it seeks to convince Italians that a mass inoculation program is necessary to beat back a pandemic that has killed nearly two million people worldwide and shuttered entire economies. The irony is not lost on Italians, who are not even Eu...

The Oscar-winner, 53, admitted that playing Grace, whose husband is on trial for murder, in the HBO drama created a "disquietness" to her personality. "Suddenly, I was in this place. There was sort of a disquietness to my personality where I was uneasy, and there was duress on who I was," Kidman explained on an episode of the "WTF With Marc Maron" podcast. "I actually got really sick [in the middle of filming]," she revealed. "I think this is a big thing that happens to actors. I went down for a week, because your immune system doesn’t know the difference between acting and truth when you’re doing those [d...
