The study from Cardiff University, which has not yet been peer-reviewed or published in a medical journal, suggests that some widely-available mouthwashes could help to kill the virus in saliva. However, this does not mean they would be able to treat the virus within the body, or act as a cure. The preliminary results come ahead of a clinical trial at the University Hospital of Wales that will examine how effective mouthwash is in reducing the amount of coronavirus found in the saliva of Covid-19 patient...

A county in Washington is advising attendees of a large wedding to get tested for COVID-19 after at least 17 people in attendance tested positive.  More than 300 people attended a wedding held at a private location near Ritzville on Nov. 7, the Grant County Health District (GCHD) said on Tuesday. Under current coronavirus restrictions, wedding ceremonies in Washington state are limited to 30 people.  GCHD said there have been 17 new cases associated with the event to date, with more being added daily. EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Department of Public Health reported 13 new coronavirus-related deaths Tuesday morning. The death toll now stands at 782 in El Paso County. The latest deaths include: 2 men in their 50s 1 woman in her 50s 1 man in his 60s 5 men in their 70s 1 woman in her 70s 2 men in their 90s 1 woman in her 90s Health officials also announced 994 new cases. It brings the number of known active cases to 34,487. For perspective, El Paso County now has more active cases than Dallas County and Harris County (Houston area) combined. According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, Dallas County has 14,120 active cases. Harris County has 12,961. Combined, the two counties have an estimated population of 7.3 million people. ...
