I would like to discuss my THOUGHTS about the Netflix movie Happiest Season with you all but I don’t want to spoil the ending if you have not seen it. Suffice to say it could have used 100 percent more of both Aubrey Plaza and Dan Levy. The ending was... disappointing. Like VERY. An Oregon nurse is placed on administrative leave after she posted a TikTok video shunning basic COVID-19 measures. The since-deleted post from user @Loveiskind05 showed the nurse wearing scrubs and a stethoscope, with the caption, “When my coworkers find out I still travel, don’t wear a mask when I’m out and let my kids have play dates.” A “duet” of the original TikTok remains online. Users apparently identified the nurse and then alerted her employer, Salem Health. D.C. officials flagged a high daily COVID-19 case rate and long testing turnaround times on Sunday.  Data released by the District says the seven-day average of cases per 100,000 residents now tops 27. D.C. flagged this metric as red in its system of green, yellow or red indicators. US breaks record for daily COVID-19 hospitalizations – New York Post

More people were hospitalized for COVID-19 nationwide on Saturday than ever before during the months-long pandemic, with 91,635 patients currently admitted over the virus, data shows. The new high on Saturday comes after hospitalization numbers dipped the day before for the first time in 30 straight days, according to the COVID Tracking Project. “Hospitalizations have gone up every day since Oct 25 except for [Friday], and [Friday’s] decrease was probably related to holiday data reported on a one-day delay,” the group wrote on Twitter.
