Deadpool 3 Moves Forward With The Molyneux Sisters Set To Write – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: As Disney continues to figure out what to do with Fox properties acquired in the merger, one of the biggest IPs, Deadpool, looks to be gaining momentum. Sources tell Deadline that Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin will write Deadpool 3, with Ryan Reynolds set to reprise his role as the wise-cracking Marvel superhero. Writer meetings have been taking place over the past month with Reynolds recently meeting with a handful of writers to hear their pitches for the next installment. In the end, the studio and Reynolds saw the sisters’ take as the perfect fit for what they wanted. 'Chernobyl's' Craig Mazin is writing the show with the mega-selling video game's creative director, Neil Druckmann. HBO is pressing play on a series adaptation of The Last of Us. The premium cable outlet has picked up the drama based on the hugely popular video game franchise from Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and the game's writer and creative director, Neil Druckmann. HBO and Sony Pictures TV are producing along with PlayStation Productions, Word Games and game developer Naughty Dog. Hospitalizations for COVID-19 continue to surge across Maine, breaking all-time records both for simultaneous statewide hospitalizations and for patients in intensive care, with much of the burden occurring at medical centers serving central, western and eastern Maine. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 inpatients statewide hit 90 on Friday, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 50 percent higher than the worst day of the spring surge. Worryingly, the majority of these inpatients were in intensive care – 49 statewide, the highest level since the pandemic began and far above the spring surge peak of 27. Study says COVID-19 reinfection unlikely for at least six months – New York Post

It is highly unlikely to become reinfected with the coronavirus for at least six months after contracting the bug, according to a new study. The research, which involved more than 12,000 front-line health care workers in Britain, found that just three of the 1,246 participants who had already developed COVID-19 antibodies retested positive for the virus — and they were all asymptomatic. Of the 11,052 medical workers without antibodies, 89 developed an infection with symptoms and 79 developed an asymptomatic infection. The study, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, covered a 30-week period between April and November 2020.
