Supernatural: A New Spanish Dub Seems To Imply That Destiel Is Canon – Showbiz Cheat Sheet

In The CW’s Supernatural, many fans shipped Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins). The ship, known as Destiel, was seemingly confirmed to be canon in the 15th and final season of the show when Cas professed his love for Dean. However, Dean was never shown verbally reciprocating Cas’ proclamation. Because of this, their final moment together is left up to interpretation, and it is up to fans to decide if their relationship is romantic or not. After the series finale aired, a Spanish dub of Cas’ last scene leaked, showing Dean responding to Cas and seemingly confirming that Destiel might be canon after all. CDC predicts U.S. coronavirus death toll could reach 321,000 by mid-December – CBS News

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is predicting the U.S. death toll from the coronavirus could hit 321,000 by mid-December. By then, hospitals could be overflowing with patients in many parts of the country — and some are already preparing. Brazil’s Bolsonaro says he will not take coronavirus vaccine – Al Jazeera English

Right-wing leader adds that Congress was unlikely to require Brazilians to take a vaccine. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said on Thursday evening that he would not take a coronavirus vaccine, the latest in a series of statements he has made expressing scepticism towards vaccination programmes that many hope will bring an end to the pandemic. In statements broadcast live over multiple social media platforms, the right-wing leader added that Congress was unlikely to require Brazilians to take a vaccine. It’s my right,” he said. ...

Cannabis plant extract significantly downregulated Covid-19 inflammation levels: Study – BusinessLine

Researchers in Canada carried out a study to find whether Cannabis sativa extracts may help in reducing the levels of the host cell receptor that the SARS-CoV-2 virus clings on to gain entry and spread. For the study, researchers from the University of Lethbridge and Pathway Rx Inc., Lethbridge developed hundreds of new C. Sativa cultivars and tested 23 extracts in artificial 3D human models of the oral, airway, and intestinal tissues. The study, published in the journal Aging, noted that 13 of the extracts downregulated expression of the SARS-CoV-2 host cell receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2). “The observed down-regulation of ACE2 gene expression by several tested extracts of new C. Sativa cultivars is a novel and crucial finding,” said the researchers. “While our most eff...
