67 new coronavirus cases in Onondaga County; testing site opening at CNY Regional Market – syracuse.com
Syracuse, N.Y. — Onondaga County confirmed 67 new cases of the coronavirus in the last day, announced the results of its Covid-19 enforcement task force and are opening up a new testing site.
Of those 67 cases, 45 were from community spread, County Executive Ryan McMahon tweeted Sunday afternoon. Of those 45, 18 were from a known source. Another 13 were contracted among household members, five were from travel and four are still being traced.
Seven cases were tracked back to K-12 schools in the county and four were traced to colleges and universities.
The 67 new cases is down from 71 new cases announced Saturday and the 99 new cases announced Friday, a single-day record.
