Sofia Richie and Matthew Morton Fuel Romance Rumors With a Kiss – E! NEWS

It looks like things are heating up between Sofia Richie and Matthew Morton.  Less than three weeks after they were spotted out together at Nobu, the model and Cha Cha Matcha co-founder enjoyed a Japanese-Peruvian dinner date this week at Matsuhisa. On Monday, Nov. 2, the two were photographed together at the Beverly Hills hot spot together along with a group of friends. During the meal, photographers captured some major PDA between them as they locked lips at the table.  When they first sparked romance rumors in October—on the heels of Richie and ex Scott Disick's split—a source quickly cleared up their status. "Sofia isn't dating Matthew," the source said. "They have been texting for a few weeks and decided to go out. She's having fun and isn't looking for a relationship." ...

Autoantibodies Causing COVID-19 Blood Clots That Wreak Havoc on Patients – SciTechDaily

A new study reveals that COVID-19 triggers production of antibodies circulating through the blood, causing clots in people hospitalized with the disease. Credit: Stephanie King/ Michigan Medicine Blood clots continue to wreak havoc for patients with severe COVID-19 infection, and a new study explains what may spark them in up to half of patients. The culprit: an autoimmune antibody that’s circulating in the blood, attacking the cells and triggering clots in arteries, veins, and microscopic vessels. Blood clots can cause life-threatening events like strokes. And, in COVID-19, microscopic clots may restrict blood flow in the lungs, impairing oxygen exchange. Outside of novel coronavirus infection, these clot-causing antibodies are typically seen in patients who have the autoimmune...

The Great British Baking Show: Fans Have a Major Theory About Ice Cream on the Series – Showbiz Cheat Sheet

The Great British Baking Show is one of the only things getting us through 2020, which has been riddled with uncertainty, loss, and quarantine. The beloved baking competition show is helmed by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith as they critique a dozen of the best amateur bakers in the U.K. This year, along with the judges, hosts Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas are known for their hijinks and their ability to keep us all laughing and entertained. From their borderline inappropriate jokes to using breadboards to do sword fights, they’ve certainly added their own flair to the series. Like everyone else on the planet, GBBO has had to make some major adjustments amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, including having the contestants, hosts, judges, and crew quarantine...

Clare Crawley Is Feeling “Really Down” Amid Bachelorette Backlash, Says DeAnna Pappas – E! NEWS

If you couldn't tell from, well, the show, Clare Crawley is not having a great time as the Bachelorette. A sentiment even friend and former rose distributor DeAnna Pappas agrees with. DeAnna, who was the Bachelorette in 2008 and guest starred on Clare's season to give her some advice, appeared on Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins' iHeart radio podcast Almost Famous on Nov. 2, where she discussed some of the drama going down with The Bachelorette. To recap, this season Clare seems to be clicking with only one guy, Dale Moss (and, uh, fighting with a few other contestants). E! confirmed that Clare will exit the season early in order to ride off into the sunset with the former Party City model. Tayshia Adams is set to join the season midway through as the new lead, shaking things up in a wa...

Dancing With the Stars 10 Biggest Feuds – E! NEWS

Kaitlyn Bristowe vs. Carrie Ann Inaba Things are getting thorny in the ballroom after the longtime judge claimed she was being "bullied" by fans of the former Bachelorette.  "I still get bullied. Right about this time is when people start to bully me because of the way I judge people," Carrie Ann said on The Talk following the Nov. 2 episode of the ABC reality competition. "I can't believe it still happens as adults." After Kaitlyn's performance with professional partner Artem Chigvintsev, Carrie Ann called the pair out for doing a lift during their jive, which is against the rules.  "I'm a little torn right now... Can you do a back-tap on your own," she asked Kaitlyn. "I'm going to call that a lift." She ended up deducting points from their performance.  After her dance, Kaitlyn ...

College student with COVID-19 found dead in dorm room while quarantining – New York Post

An Indiana college student who was quarantining after testing positive for the coronavirus was found dead in her dorm room, according to a report. Bethany Nesbitt, 20, was found in a residence hall at Grace College on Oct. 30, according to the Charlotte Observer. Her official cause of death was ruled to be from a pulmonary embolism — a blockage of an artery in the lungs — but a medical examiner said COVID-19 “played a role” in her passing. “After a complete investigation and autopsy, the cause of death has been ruled natural due to a pulmonary embolus that had not been previously detected,” Coroner Tony Ciriello said, according to the school. “While COVID did play a role in contributing to the death, it was not caused by COVID.” The psychology major from Michigan, who ha...

The Government of Alberta will continue working closely with Alberta Health Services, the Public Health Agency of Canada and other partners across Canada.” At a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Hinshaw said the positive case was discovered after the person went to a hospital and was tested for COVID-19. It is standard practice for COVID-19 tests from hospitals to also be screened for influenza, she said. “In fact, this individual was recommended to stay home for 10 days. So essentially (they) followed all the instructions that they would have had this been a COVID case...
