Norm Crosby, one of the top comedians in the '60s and beyond, has died. Crosby's wife said her husband succumbed to heart failure. His moniker was malaprops ... the misuse of words that were absolutely hilarious. He would muse that he went to the tailor for some altercations. And, this is hysterical ... he once joked folks who can't read or write are victims of illegitimacy! Norm was a staple on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson ... appearing more than 50 times. He made the rounds for sure, also appearing on "The Ed Sullivan Show," "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," "Roseanne," "The Larry Sanders Show," and, of course, "The Love Boat." Norm recently appeared in "Grownups 2" ... he played a Kmart worker. He was also in "8 Crazy Nights." ...

The Queen cut a "lonely figure" as she marked the centenary of the tomb of the unknown warrior. David Dimbleby remarked on the "lonely" Queen as he presented the Remembrance Sunday service on the BBC. The broadcast from Whitehall featured a pre-recorded clip of Her Majesty, who visited the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior to lay a replica of her bridal bouquet on Wednesday. {%=o.title%} Mr Dimbleby said: "The lonely figure of the Queen at Westminster Abbey earlier this week at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior." The Queen continues to delegates royal responsibilities to her son and heir Prince Charles, set to one day become the country's King. Today, the Prince of Wales stepped out of Clarence House in the midst of England's second lockdown to lead the country in the commemoration of those who have fallen in the line of duty.  {%=o.title%} For the fourth time since 2017, the Prince of Wales solemnly laid a wreath of red poppies at the Cenotaph while the monarch looked on from the balcony of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office building.  After fixing the wreath at the base of the monument, the future King stepped back and respectfully saluted.  An equerry followed through, laying a wreath on behalf of the Duke of Edinburgh who last attended this...

Host Dave Chappelle couldn't help but laugh at his own joke.  During a "Saturday Night Live" sketch, the comedian starred as Allstate Insurance pitchman Dennis Haysbert in a boardroom as Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben were fired from representing the pancake mix and rice brand, respectively.  "This is ridiculous. If we can't work, how come the Allstate guy gets to work?" Kennan Thompson's Uncle Ben said, as Maya Rudolph's Aunt Jemima added: "Who doesn't love my pancakes?" Comedian Dave Chappelle, who hosted "Saturday Night Live" hours after the election was called in favor of President-elect Joe Biden, opened his monologue by reflecting on his great-grandfather who was a slave. Chappelle said after his great-grandfather was freed, he dedicated his life to education, Jesus and freedom for Black people. The comedian mentioned his relation because he said he had been thinking about him all day as the election was called, wishing his ancestor could see how well his great-grandson had done in show business. “If he could see me now, he’d probably say, this n---- has been bought and sold more than I have,” he laughed in a moment that began an edgy, yet thoughtful stand-up bit. Exclusive Britney Spears might want her father, Jamie Spears, out of the business of managing her conservatorship — but he says there wouldn't be much of a business without him in charge the last 12 years. Jamie has filed new court docs in Britney’s conservatorship case, firing back at Britney's attorney, Sam Ingham, for recently asking a judge to kick Jamie out of his role as co-conservator of the estate. He makes numerous points for why this would be a bad idea. For one, Jamie says he's doing everything he's supposed to be doing managing the estate  -- and that includes keeping it thriving and bridging the gap on any hiccups that could cost his daughter a fortune...
