Winthrop issues guidance after 5 market employees test positive for COVID-19 – WCVB Boston
The town of Winthrop is urging any visitors to the Winthrop Marketplace or Winthrop Meat Market in the days leading up to Thanksgiving to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19, after multiple employees tested positive for the virus. Four employees who work at the Winthrop Marketplace on Revere Street in Winthrop testes positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. One employee at the Winthrop Meat Market next to Metcalf Square also tested positive for COVID. The town's public health department said the cases at the two businesses, located away from each other, were not related. The health department said the employees at both businesses were last in the stores on Wednesday, November 25.
