UPDATE: The  Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has reported 2 new deaths and 2,238 positive cases. As with all numbers reported on the weekend, the lower number of deaths reflects reporting delays. Although the numbers are lower than November 7, the new update is a continuing of the upward trend in cases. This marks the fourth consecutive day of new cases over 2,000. To date, there are 322,207  positive COVID-19 cases and 7,172 deaths. 851 people currently hospitalized while29% are in the ICU. Nearly 3,257,000 individuals have been tested and 9% have tested positive. Jordan, N.Y. — A student athlete tested positive for the coronavirus after participating in a cross country meet Saturday at Jordan-Elbridge High School, according to the Cayuga County Health Department. A spectator at the cross country meet also has tested positive for Covid-19, health officials said in a news release Sunday. Jordan-Elbridge hosted the cross country meet Saturday, featuring runners from J-E, Christian Brothers Academy, Skaneateles and Weedsport. The Cayuga County Health Department on Sunday issued a release warning the public of the potential Covid-19 exposure at the meet. Anyone in attendance at the cross country meet Saturday at J-E High School may have been exposed and should monitor themselves for symptoms of Covid-19 for 14 days from the date of potential exposure...
