‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Shocker: Krista Vernoff, Ellen Pompeo & [Spoiler] On Season 17 Premiere’s Dream Reunion – Deadline

SPOILER ALERT: This story includes details about tonight’s Season 17 premiere of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. EXCLUSIVE: ABC’s promo for the Season 17 premiere of Grey’s Anatomy teased a “shocking, jaw-dropping ending.” That was an understatement. In one of the series’ biggest twists ever, a beloved character, Patrick Dempsey’s Derek Shepherd, whose tragic death in an April 2015 episode left fans heartbroken, came back. Appropriately, the late McDreamy appeared in a dream sequence, joining Ellen Pompeo’s Meredith Grey on a beach seconds after Meredith collapsed in the parking lot of Grey Sloan Memorial. ABC The sweet Meredith-Derek reunion was the joyous coda to an emotional two-hour season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy’s 17th season, dedicated to frontline healthcare w...

‘Wonder Woman 1984’ & All The Theatrical Release Date-HBO Max Madness At Warner Bros – Deadline

A decision from Warner Bros. on Wonder Woman 1984’s Christmas Day theatrical fate is imminent, I hear, either tomorrow or by Monday at the latest. The internet is in a tizzy over a Bloomberg article tonight that the sequel to the $821M-plus grossing 2017 DC hit, which broke several records for women at the box office, is headed for an HBO Max play a week or two following its Christmas Day theatrical run. I hear that’s not the option the studio is careening toward. However, according to exhibition sources, I understand that WarnerMedia brass have kicked around the idea of a simultaneous theatrical and HBO Max release on Christmas Day, particularly given how the pandemic is poised to shut down California exhibition in two weeks as more counties move from red to purple tier, with ot...

COVID-19 spread prompts Alameda County to freeze new openings in Berkeley, Oakland – Berkeleyside

Current tier assignments in California counties, last update on Nov. 10. The next update will be on Tuesday, Nov. 17. Image: State of CaliforniaAlameda County health officials will not allow for the opening of additional businesses as COVID-19 spread increases in Berkeley, Oakland and neighboring cities, with warnings that the region may soon return to more restrictive tiers in the state’s monitoring system.
