Vietnam veterans ID tag returned to North Dakota widow after found in Russia – Fox News

An Army identification tag lost by an American soldier when he was wounded by a grenade blast in Vietnam was returned Wednesday to his widow after it was found by an American traveling in Russia. Gov. Doug Burgum presented the tag -- referred to as dog tags -- to Ruth Hepper, of Bismarck, N.D. Her husband, Ronald Hepper, 58, died in 2007, Burgum's office said in a news release. A study by University College London (UCL) of 590 people who lost their sense of smell or taste earlier in the year found 80% had coronavirus antibodies. Of those people with antibodies, 40% had no other symptoms. The research only looked at people with mild symptoms, however. Two of the county’s three Risk Alert Levels — the Health Care System Capacity and Effectiveness of Disease Control — improved and moved from level two or yellow, into level one or green. The shift in Health Care System Capacity is due to trends in hospitalized COVID-19 patients and availability of critical medical resources.
