Explosive new No Time to Die trailer builds James Bond hype back up – CNET

Bond is back. Shah said the case tally includes 56 wedding guests and their secondary and tertiary contacts, 46 inmates and 19 staff members at the York County Jail, and 16 cases among residents and employees of the Maplecrest Maplecrest Rehabilitation & Living Center in Madison, Maine. According to Shah, eight inmates at the York County Jail had tested positive within the past 24 hours. “Our concern level remains high,” Shah said, not just for the jail but for all of York County, where about the half the outbreaks being reviewed by his agency are located. The situation in York County, Shah said, “has the potential to spiral” and affect other areas if it’s not contained. “No outbreak is an island,” Shah said. “One outbreak can quickly lead to several more outbreaks. ... All this means there is now...

It can take months of taking supplements or spending more time exposed to sunlight to correct a vitamin D deficiency, Meltzer said.

Mulan review: Disney’s live-action remake feels like Rise of Skywalker – Polygon

The new live-action Mulan, directed by Niki Caro (Whale Rider, The Zookeeper’s Wife), is reminiscent of two things. First, naturally, the 1998 animated film it’s adapted from. Second, Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker. There isn’t any science fiction in the new Disney movie (though there is a healthy helping of fantasy), but the changes to the story — and the nostalgic cues that haven’t been changed — call the recent installments of the blockbuster franchise to mind. The bulk of the story, based on the legend of Hua Mulan, remains the same. Mulan (Liu Yifei) is strong-willed and unafraid to speak her mind. Those qualities worry her family, since they may prevent her from finding a suitable husband, especially after she bombs her visit with the local matchmaker (Cheng Pe...

What Chadwick Boseman taught us about humanity — and how we can honor his legacy – CNN

We need to only look to the outpouring of grief over his untimely death to know that the "Black Panther" star was influential beyond the screen. And while I was in no way trying to negate the universality of admiration for the actor, there can be no denying the symbolism and importance of Boseman and "Black Panther" to African Americans in particular. The complaints did get me thinking of what the loss of Boseman means to the world more broadly, and there are indeed several lessons we can take from his life to honor his legacy. Perseverance: There was shock all around to discover that Boseman privately battled colon cancer for four years. He played T'Challa/Black Panther in more than one Marvel film during his illness, and now knowing that he was sick, it's almost incomprehensible when yo...
