Bruce Williamson, 49, a long-running voice of The Temptations, has died from coronavirus. The R&B singer died Sunday evening at Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, his business manager, Anta Ealy, confirms to USA TODAY. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 in late August, Ealy says, weeks after having his gallbladder removed.  "There's no words in the world that can express how I feel right now," Bruce Alan Williamson Jr., the singer’s son, wrote in an emotional post on Monday. Kevin Dobson, most known for his work on TV dramas Knots Landing, Days of Our Lives and Kojak, has died. He was 77. The United Veterans Council of San Joaquin County announced the actor’s death on Facebook. Dobson, who died on Sunday, served as chairman of the San Joaquin County group. Dobson was born in New York on March 18, 1943. Before pursuing his acting career, the New York native first worked multiple positions for the Long Island Railroad. After working as brakeman and conductor for the transportation system, he worked as a waiter. The actor’s first big break into the industry was as Govorner Harrison Brooks in the TV series One Life to Live in 1968. Disney made a controversial decision when, after twice delaying the theatrical release of its live-action “Mulan,” it announced the movie would go straight to Disney+ in the U.S. with a third new date (Sept. 4) and a digital purchase fee ($30) on top of the monthly Disney+ subscription fee. Now, preliminary data at least shows that ‘Mulan’ prompted a spike in Disney+ app downloads. Sensor Tower, an app download research firm, tells Yahoo Finance that downloads of Disney+ spiked 68% from Friday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 6, compared to one weekend prior. Consumer spending in the app also spiked 193%, which can obviously be attributed to customers paying the $30 ‘Mulan’ fee. The cast of the cult classic "The Princess Bride" is hosting a special reunion for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. The party's website made the announcement of an exclusive script read featuring the movie's stars Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Carol Kane, Chris Sarandon, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn, Billy Crystal and director Rob Reiner.
