Meghan Markle and Harry fire back at Netflix reality show rumours after national OUTRAGE – Express

Meghan and Harry were originally reported to be planning on making a reality TV show about their lives, however a representative has since denied the claims. The Netflix deal sparked outcry from royal commentators who believed Meghan and Harry were abusing their titles to gain leverage in contract negotiations. Norman Baker, Crime Prevention Minister, told Good Morning Britain Harry has “divorced himself from the royal family” and is “clearly exploiting” his connections to Buckingham Palace. He added: “HRH means he is representing Britain abroad, and he's not representing Britain abroad. He's clearly divorced himself from the royal family in practical terms."  {%=o.title%} Despite the denial, insiders close to the couple claimed they pi...

WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Drew McIntyre holds open challenge, Mysterio family drama escalates – CBSSports.com

One night removed from the Clash of Champions pay-per-view, WWE returned to the ThunderDome inside Orlando's Amway Center for Raw. While the show was light on story developments, there were some meaningful matches through the night, including three bouts with championships on the line. Drew McIntyre opened the show by issuing an open challenge to anyone who had yet to face him for the championship. This would lead to a surprise return of a former NXT champion and an unsurprising victory to retain the title for McIntyre. Also on the line over the course of the show were the Raw women's and 24/7 titles, neither of which changed hands in the ring, though the 24/7 belt did change hands three times through the show. CBS Sports was with you all night long, bringing you rec...

Worldwide death toll from coronavirus eclipses 1 million – KSL.com

NEW DELHI (AP) — The worldwide death toll from the coronavirus eclipsed 1 million on Tuesday, nine months into a crisis that has devastated the global economy, tested world leaders’ resolve, pitted science against politics, and forced multitudes to change the way they live, learn and work. “It’s not just a number. It’s human beings. It’s people we love,” said Dr. Howard Markel, a professor of medical history at the University of Michigan who has advised government officials on containing pandemics and lost his 84-year-old mother to COVID-19 in February. “It’s our brothers, our sisters. It’s people we know,” he added. “And if you don’t have that human factor right in your face, it’s very easy to make it abstract.” The bleak milestone, recorded by Johns Hopkins University, is greater than t...
