In response to incidents of police brutality across the United States, singer Macy Gray is ramping up her nonprofit My Good. The organization, founded quietly earlier this year, seeks to help families and loved ones of victims of police violence with financial, emotional and mental health support. The org is also at work curating different platforms for the victims’ families to be heard including support groups with grief experts and ministers among other initiatives. ‘American Ninja Warrior’ Champion Drew Drechsel Arrested For Child Sex Crimes – Deadline

American Ninja Warrior winner Drew Drechsel was arrested Tuesday following accusations of having an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the District of New Jersey, Drechsel, who won the last season of NBC’s athletic competition show, was arrested in his Florida home. The office’s official press release detailed that Drechsel, 31, traveled to New Jersey to engage in sexual activity with a minor. The Florida native also encouraged the girl to send him inappropriate pictures of herself. Drechsel is being charged with manufacture of child pornography, enticement of a minor to travel for illicit sexual conduct, among other crimes. The reigning champ of NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” competition was arrested Tuesday after being accused of having a years-long sexual relationship with teen girl from New Jersey, federal prosecutors said. The alleged victim came forward in June 2019, telling cops that she and Drew Drechsel had sex several times beginning in 2015, when she was 15 and he was 26, according to a criminal complaint. They first met and exchanged phone numbers in 2014, at an event attended by several “American Ninja Warrior” contestants, the complaint states.
