Photos show Ghislaine Maxwell, Jean-Luc Brunel on Epsteins Pedophile Island – New York Post

Bombshell new photos obtained by The Post show Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged sex-victim recruiters — Ghislaine Maxwell and modeling-agency pal Jean-Luc Brunel — romping together on the hedge-funder’s “Pedophile Island.’’ The stunning snaps offer an inside look at the pair’s this-close relationship — and a slice of life on Epstein’s disturbing paradise-turned-orgy isle. The cozy pair was caught playfully nuzzling on camera, with Brunel grabbing Maxwell and appearing to jokingly try to kiss her as she covers herself. In another photo, Maxwell wraps her arms around the laughing talent-agency honcho’s waist and buries her head in his stomach. It’s not clear who took the 2003 photos on Epstein’s Caribbean Little St. James Island — which was dubbed “Pedophile Island’’ by locals beca...

The doctors suggested there could be several causes as the pandemic has kept millions of Americans at home due to remote working or lost jobs. CeeLo Green criticises Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B, says adult content in music has “time and a place” – NME

CeeLo Green has said that he thinks adult content in music has a “time and a place”, while criticising music by Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B in the process. Speaking in a new interview, the Goodie Mob rapper/singer talked about his love of old pop music, before offering his thoughts on the current genre and what he thinks it’s lacking. “A lot of music today is very unfortunate and disappointing on a personal and moral level,” Green told Far Out. “There was once a time when we were savvy enough to code certain things. We could express to those it was meant for with the style of language we used. But now music is shameless, it is sheer savagery.” He added: “We are adults. There should be a time and a place for adult content. As adults and artists, we should at least attempt to be ...

First new insect repellent approved in 11 years smells like grapefruit – NBC News

A new type of insect repellent will be making its way to drugstore shelves — and it smells like grapefruit. Monday, the Environmental Protection Agency announced that it had approved a new ingredient, called nootkatone, that repels and kills mosquitoes and ticks. The naturally occurring ingredient — which is responsible for the characteristic scent of grapefruit — was discovered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and developed into an insecticide. It’s also found in Alaska yellow cedar trees and is widely used in the cosmetic industry to make perfumes and colognes. In registering the new ingredient, the EPA is acknowledging that it is safe and effective, and formally giving the greenlight for companies to use nootkatone to develop new products for people and pets. No, Neck Gaiters Werent Proven to be Worse Than No Face Mask – Lifehacker

Photo: michaelheim (Shutterstock) There’s a new study claiming that neck gaiters like Buffs are worse than not wearing a mask at all. I’m not convinced that this study should be taken at face value, but it’s also reasonable to be suspicious of Buffs, bandanas, and other face coverings that aren’t designed to do the job of a mask. (To be totally clear: Buff is a company that makes thin, spandex-y neck gaiters that have become eponymously known to many as “buffs.” They also make a purpose-built face mask. That mask was not tested in the study we’re talking about here.) For more on face masks, check out the video below: We’ve long known that N95 respirators do the best job of protecting both the wearer and others. Surgical “procedure” masks—those disposable medical masks—are the nex...
