The live viewership numbers for both AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT are in. Both shows were up this week in total viewers. It was NXT that took the night, which brings their winning streak to back-to-back weeks. This marked the first week of AEW’s Fyter Fest and NXT’s Great American Bash. AEW Dynamite drew 748,000 live viewers and NXT drew 792,000 live viewers. Last week, AEW drew 633,000 while NXT drew 786,000. As is the case in most weeks, AEW won the 18-49 demographic. NXT ranked #13 among the top 150 shows on cable while AEW was #6. Last week marked the new yearly low for AEW in total viewership. After suspending the Disney College Program at the start of the COVID-19 closures, Walt Disney World has now announced that the Fall 2020 program, which was set to begin in late August and run through January, has been canceled. The program is now suspended until further notice. All prospective College Program participants have received the following notice informing them of the cancellation: Prospective participants who were set to start in the Fall are being encouraged to complete a form for future opportunities. Eligibility requirements for all programs will be amended so those participants who have already been accepted will be able to reapply, even if they have already graduated.
