Your first look at Donald Trump, as played by Brendan Gleeson in The Comey Rule – CNET

Gleeson looks convincing as Donald Trump. Showtime The Comey Rule, a mini-series based on James Comey's book A Higher Loyalty, is set to be shown on Showtime on September 27 and 28. It stars Jeff Daniels as Comey himself, with Brendan Gleeson taking on the role of Donald Trump. In a new trailer released today, we finally get to see brief glimpses of Gleeson's performance as Trump. It seems... good. (Disclosure: CNET is owned by ViacomCBS, which also owns Showtime.) Logic Reflects on His Career in Aquarius III Video – Billboard

Logic delivered his final album, No Pressure, last week before shifting his focus to being a good father for his newborn baby boy. He did, however, put on his iconic red jumpsuit one last time for the newly released "Aquarius III" video, in which the rapper is seen walking down the street and reflecting on his life and career. "All I ever gave a f--- about was my career / But all that s--- out the window now that my son is here / F--- sales and streams, none of that s--- entails dreams / F--- rap, f--- press, f--- feeling like I'm less / If it ain't 'bout my happiness, than I could give a f--- less," he proclaims over a sample of The Roots' 2010 instrumental “A Peace of Light.” Watch the video below.

Netflix is bringing back Black sitcoms Moesha and Sister Sister, and I cannot contain my excitement – The Verge

Spread the word: Netflix has secured the rights to stream some of the best Black sitcoms from the 90s and 2000s — including my personal favorites Moesha, Sister Sister, and The Parkers, all of which I fondly remember watching as a little girl. I still remember running to my room to turn on the TV, singing the R&B theme songs for each show (they were so energetic and catchy that I memorized the lyrics word by word), and how amazing it was to see TV sitcoms targeted to my demographic. There weren’t a ton of black TV shows, with black female leads taking charge, that focused on things I personally struggled with growing up. I was pretty young when these three shows had their initial runs (I was born in 1995), but thanks to reruns throughout the 2000s, I got to experience these sho...

Exclusive: Buddy, first dog to test positive for COVID-19 in the U.S., has died – National Geographic

Buddy liked dog stuff: running through the sprinklers, going on long car rides, swimming in the lake. He cuddled the Mahoneys—his owners and family—at the end of tough days. He humored them when they dressed him up as a bunny for Halloween. He was a protective big brother to 10-month-old Duke, the family’s other German shepherd. He loved everyone. He lived up to his name. In mid-April, right before his seventh birthday, Buddy began struggling to breathe. Six weeks later, he became the first dog in the United States to be confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. On July 11, Buddy died. Photos of Buddy and the Mahon...

The Comey Rule Trailer, Release Date, and Trump Performance Revealed – Collider.com

When last we reported on The Comey Rule, the upcoming Showtime miniseries based on former FBI Director James Comey‘s best-selling book, there was controversy about its release date. Writer/director Billy Ray sent an impassioned email to his cast members insisting that the show must air before Election Day 2020. Now, it looks as though he’s gotten his wish, as The Comey Rule now has an official pre-Election Day release date, and a first trailer. Jeff Daniels stars as Comey, who seems to be an ever-increasingly worried man of integrity. Brendan Gleeson stars as President Donald Trump, and while the trailer only gives us glimpses and catches of Gleeson’s work, his voice and physical presence feel accurately overbearing. The rest of the star-studded cast inc...

Court clears path for Ashley Judd sexual harassment lawsuit against Weinstein | TheHill – The Hill

Actress Ashley Judd’s sexual harassment lawsuit against convicted rapist and former producer Harvey Weinstein can proceed, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday. Judd sued Weinstein in 2018 for sexual harassment and defamation, accusing Weinstein of trying to coerce her into massaging him and watching him shower in the mid-1990s. When she refused, Judd said Weinstein hurt her career by telling people she was difficult to work with, including “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson. He said Weinstein advised him against casting Judd in the fantasy trilogy, The Associated Press reported. A lower-court judge threw out the harassment portion of Judd’s lawsuit but a three-judge panel on Wednesday ruled that she could sue under a California law that applies to defendants other t...
