Four new virus-related deaths and 1,075 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Monday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 22,813 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of deaths went up to 432, the state health department said on Tuesday.
Four new deaths were reported but none of them happened in the last 24 hours.
The four deaths are: one in Creek County, one male in the 65 or older age group. One in Kay County, one male in the 65 or older age group. One in Oklahoma County, one male in the 65 or older age group. One in Tulsa County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
A total of 2,170 Oklahomans have been hospitalized due to the virus with 561 patients currently in the hospital.
So far, 16,635 Oklahomans have recovered from the virus with 820 more cases considered recovered since Wednesday. Health officials said recovered means the patient is not hospitalized or deceased and it has been 14 days since the onset of symptoms or report.
As of Wednesday morning, a total of 424,512 tests have returned negative. This includes state testing and private lab testing since February.
On Wednesday, Governor Stitt said he has tested positive for COVID-19.
