Oblivious nurse gives patient six COVID vaccine doses in single shot – New York Post

It was happy hour on COVID shots. A nurse in Tuscany, Italy redefined “shots on the house” after accidentally giving a patient a staggering six doses of the coronavirus vaccine — in a single shot. The female recipient is fortunately in stable condition following the mishap, CNN reported. “She [the nurse] saw five empty syringes and realized her mistake,” said Daniella Gianelli, a spokeswoman at the Goa hospital, where the vaccination fiasco occurred. The unnamed 23-year-old patient had reportedly been eligible for a shot before her peers as she worked as an intern at the facility. Unfortunately, the administering nurse mistakenly filled one syringe with a whole bottle of Pfizer COVID vaccine — which contains six shots — and didn’t realize her mistake un...

Ben Affleck reportedly sent Jennifer Lopez love letters before A-Rod split – Page Six

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez had barely struck out at love when Ben Affleck decided to step back up to the plate, according to a report. The hunky actor tried to rekindle his old romance with the “Jenny from the Block” singer by sending her love letters while she was still engaged to the former Yankees slugger, TMZ reported Tuesday. Affleck, 48, and J.Lo, 51, were in “regular contact by email” since early February, a source claimed to the site. Their correspondence began after Lopez traveled to the Caribbean to film “Shotgun Wedding,” and the emails were more “loving and longing for Jen” than friendly, the source alleged. In his messages, Affleck reportedly told the “Pa Ti” singer how beautiful she looked in photos from the Dominican Republic. ...

Before making the decision to see it—or any other film—in a movie theater, please consider the health risks involved. Here’s an interview on the matter with scientific experts. Say what you will about the bombastic rock-video opuses of Zack Snyder, but the man does know how to open a picture, doesn’t he? The director of some of the dourest superhero movies of the last decade has, if nothing else, mastered the lost art of the opening credits sequence—a talent he flexes once more at the onset of his palette-cleansing new film, the action-horror hybrid Army Of The Dead. Through his signature style of near-tableau, Snyder depicts the fall of a Las Vegas overrun with ghouls. A Liberace impersonator is d...
