By the way, bungee jumping is not one of them. I was thinking more along the lines of rock climbing. Initially it may scare you off, but you truly should try it first on an indoor wall. This process changes the minds of many. You suddenly get a feel for the adventure, and look forward to taking it to the next level. In no time flat, you're purchasing quality rock climbing shoes, backpacks and climbing gear. These are necessities if you plan to take your game to the wilderness. Finding the right equipment is imperative. The cheap stuff won't do.
I doubt anyone can forget the flick "Cliffhanger." This is the one with Sylvester Stallone and the crazy rock climbing scenes. This movie blew me away. I never looked at rock climbing the same. I was shocked when he used his upper-body to leap up the side of a rock. NICE! That cannot be easy. Is it all in the fancy rock climbing shoes and gear, or maybe have something to do with the bodybuilding? Hmm, I wonder. Well, aside from the dangerous stunts, you too can do what Stallone was doing in this old-school action flick. It's not like you see on television and movies half the time. In reality you climb with grippy rock climbing shoes, gloves and safety harnesses and ropes. You're secure when you scale that rock face. This way if you do happen to fall, the safety harness will catch you. Now, on the other side of the spectrum, there are those who free climb, but I don't necessarily recommend it. For me this is like a circus performer tackling the high wire with no safety net below. It's a bit on the absurd side. If you're a beginner, you should definitely start with the safety equipment.

They seem to have it all where the great outdoors is concerned. Ask an employee to help you with the products, and they can walk you through it step by step. In no time, you'll be scaling that rock face like a pro.
